DataBanksia is for buying, renting, selling, and leasing. Search stays free. A basic listing stays free for a private seller and for an agency. The only money on the table is two visibility products, each with a fixed fee you can see before you pay.
Why this portal
The interesting part is what it refuses to charge for.
Two large portals already cover Australia. DataBanksia is the alternative that keeps the core free and prints the price of anything extra. The interface is its own, drawn from the banksia mark, not a copy of those two sites.
A basic listing costs nothing
Publishing an ordinary advertisement, to sell or to lease, is free. That is true for a private seller and for an agency.
Extra attention has a posted price
A listing bump refreshes an ad toward the top of search. A featured placement pins it. Both are fixed fees. There is no private rate card for agencies.

Buyers
Look without paying for the privilege.
You can search homes for sale on a portal whose business is not a toll on the search itself.
Sellers
List the home yourself.
A private seller can place a home for sale at no charge for the basic listing, and pay a known fee only if the ad needs to be seen sooner.
Renters
Search leases the same way.
Looking for a place to rent is free, on the same portal, without a separate product standing in front of the ads.
Landlords
Advertise a lease for nothing.
A basic listing to lease is free. The same two visibility products can lift it if you want more of the renter’s attention.
Agencies
A free channel beside the two portals you already pay.
This is the part that matters for an agency. A basic listing on DataBanksia costs the agency nothing. Nobody asks the agency to accept an opaque price. Buyers and renters who start here can still reach the agency.
Publish the way you already publish
Send the REAXML feed your agency software already produces, or use an API key from your DataBanksia account. The aim is one checkbox in that same system: Publish on DataBanksia.
Keep stock the expensive portals do not have to carry
A listing you do not want to pay those portals to show can still sit here, where people are already looking for a home.
Your words stay yours
When the agency publishes the listing, the ad is the full one: the agency’s photographs and the agency’s words. When a card shows only the facts and a link, the visitor goes to the agency’s own advertisement.
